Now, what can you do? If you have an addict, and are fortunate enough to reach the area where the concern is, you can try and move the insulation to see if you have any mold in the backside of the drywall ceiling. So if there is mold growth, you can possibly treat it from the addict side.
If you don’t have that benefit, the only adequate way would be to remove the ceiling. If you’re a homeowner, you can remove the roof yourself, or you can hire a professional mold remediation company, but most of the time, asbestos testing has to be done as well.
